A complete event production BOQ should cover design and project management, staging and structure, AV (audio, video, lighting), power and rigging, furniture and set dressing, logistics and transport, crew labour for build, show days and strike, and contingency. The items that most often get left out of vendor quotes are on-show standby crew, rigging or venue service fees, power distribution beyond a basic feed, insurance, and de-rig/waste removal — ask for each explicitly rather than assuming it is bundled in.
