Producing UN and NGO pavilions in Saudi Arabia and the GCC: a practical guide
Producing a UN or NGO pavilion in Saudi Arabia or the wider GCC differs from commercial exhibition work in four ways: sustainability is written into the tender (reusable structures, certified timber, a waste plan), the floor plan must serve protocol (bilateral rooms, press areas, secure briefing space), procurement expects itemised, documented quotations, and delivery must be genuinely bilingual. We produced entrance structures, agency booths and pavilion elements at UNCCD COP16 in Riyadh as an independent production contractor.
