Exhibition Stand Builders in Jeddah

Custom and modular exhibition stands for Jeddah trade shows, designed by our team and produced through our Riyadh production house.

The Concept WLL builds exhibition stands for companies exhibiting in Jeddah. We design the stand, prepare the drawings and documents the organiser asks for, produce it through our Riyadh production house and install, support and dismantle it at the venue.

Exhibiting in Jeddah has its own rhythm. Shows run at a small number of venues, each organiser publishes its own exhibitor manual, build and dismantle windows are short, and the coastal humidity affects some materials. This page is written for marketing and exhibition managers planning a Jeddah show: how the process works, how to choose between custom and modular, what drives cost, and what to have ready before you ask for a quote.

Exhibition venues in Jeddah

Most trade exhibitions in Jeddah take place at a few established venues. The building provides the space, but the organiser of each show sets the rules for that edition, so the exhibitor manual is always the reference we work from.

Jeddah Superdome

A large-format venue that hosts exhibitions alongside concerts, sport and entertainment, so build-up and technical rules vary more between events than at a standard hall. Anything suspended from the roof needs separate approval.

Jeddah Centre for Forums & Events

An exhibition and conference venue associated with the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce, hosting trade exhibitions, forums and consumer shows. Stands are produced to each organiser’s manual and deadlines.

Hotel and conference venues

Smaller exhibitions and conference expos are often held in hotel ballrooms and foyers, where floor loading, ceiling height and access routes limit stand size and construction methods.

Organiser rules and approvals

Before a stand can be built, the organiser usually needs to approve it. Typical requirements include stand drawings with dimensions and heights, structural calculations for raised or two-storey stands, electrical requests and loads, rigging requests for anything suspended, material and fire-safety information, and the contractor’s insurance and crew details for access badges.

Each show sets its own deadlines for these submissions, and late submissions can mean extra fees or restrictions. We read the manual at the start of the project, design within its height, setback and open-side rules, and submit on time. Approval decisions remain with the organiser and venue, so where a design needs special permission, we raise it early rather than at build-up.

Build-up and dismantle windows

Jeddah shows typically give contractors a fixed number of days before opening to build, and a short period after closing to dismantle and clear the hall. Every contractor in the hall works to the same windows, which means loading bays, forklifts and access are shared.

That is why most of the work happens before the stand reaches the venue. Structures, joinery and graphics are produced and pre-assembled where practical in Riyadh, then transported to Jeddah for a planned installation sequence: floor and structure, walls and finishes, electrical and lighting, graphics and AV, then cleaning and hand-over. Dismantle is planned in the same detail so the hall is cleared within the organiser’s deadline.

Custom or modular: which suits your Jeddah show?

Both approaches can work well. The right choice depends on your objectives, how often you exhibit and how much the stand needs to stand out from its neighbours.

Custom stands

Designed from scratch for your brand, space and products. Best for flagship shows, island and peninsula spaces, product launches and two-storey stands. Higher cost per show, maximum design freedom.

Modular stands

Built from reusable frame and panel systems with custom graphics. Faster to produce and install and easier to reconfigure, which suits companies exhibiting several times a year in different space sizes.

Hybrid stands

A modular structure combined with custom feature elements such as a branded portal, counter or lighting feature. Often the best balance of impact and budget.

Reusing a stand

If you exhibit in Riyadh and Jeddah, a stand can be designed from the start to be stored, refreshed and reconfigured for both cities.

Design considerations for Jeddah exhibitions

A stand works when visitors understand who you are within a few seconds and know where to go next. We design around your objectives first: product demonstrations, meetings, lead capture, launches or brand awareness each lead to a different layout.

  • Clear brand visibility at height, within the organiser’s height limits
  • Open, welcoming frontage with a defined entry point and space for visitors to stop without blocking the aisle
  • Meeting areas, storage and a small back-of-house space sized to the team and the show
  • Bilingual Arabic and English graphics, with right-to-left Arabic typesetting checked before print
  • Lighting that makes products and graphics read well under hall lighting
  • Materials, graphics and electronics specified with Jeddah’s humidity in mind
  • Accessibility for visitors with reduced mobility, including ramps where raised floors are used

Two-storey stands and suspended elements

Two-storey stands and suspended banners give a strong presence on a busy show floor, but they need more preparation. Organisers typically require structural calculations, a stamped or reviewed design, safe stair and handrail details, upper-floor load limits and separate approval before the build starts. Suspended elements need rigging points that the venue can provide, a rigging plan and certified hardware.

Because approval for these elements can take time and is not automatic, we submit them early in the project and keep a single-storey or ground-supported alternative ready if an element is not accepted.

Technology, AV and lead capture on the stand

Screens, product demonstrations and interactive displays can draw visitors in, but they should support the conversation your team wants to have rather than replace it. We plan AV around the stand’s objectives: a visible screen for brand content, a demonstration area with the right power and connectivity, and a simple lead-capture point such as a badge scanner or tablet form. Equipment is tested before the show opens and supported during show hours.

What affects the cost of a stand in Jeddah

Stand cost is driven by size and type, construction method, finishes, AV and technology, two-storey or rigged elements, transport from our production house, the length of the build window, and organiser charges such as power, rigging and badges, which are usually billed by the organiser separately. Storage and reuse can lower the cost per show for repeat exhibitors.

We provide an itemised quote that separates design, production, transport, installation, AV and on-site support, so you can compare options and see where adjustments make a difference. If you are still at an early stage, our free 3D booth mockup and our guide to custom versus modular stands are good starting points.

Jeddah shows with dedicated planning pages

Some Jeddah exhibitions have their own pages on our site with show-specific planning notes. If you are exhibiting at one of them, start there: our Hajj conference and exhibition stand page and our Port & Marine conference stand page explain what is particular to those audiences and formats. This page stays general and covers stand building across Jeddah venues and shows.

If you need more than a stand, for example a seminar, reception or launch event alongside your exhibition, our Jeddah event management page explains how we plan events in the city.

What to send for an accurate stand quote

Share the show name and dates, your stand number and size, the space type (shell scheme, raw space, peninsula or island), the organiser’s exhibitor manual if you have it, your objectives and products, and any existing brand guidelines or previous stand designs. A budget range helps us recommend custom, modular or hybrid from the start.

Frequently asked questions

Do you build stands at Jeddah Superdome?

We deliver exhibition stands for clients at Jeddah venues, including Jeddah Superdome. Rules for each show are set by its organiser, so we work from the exhibitor manual for your event.

Where are Jeddah stands produced?

Stands are designed by our team and produced through our production house in Riyadh, then transported to Jeddah for installation by our crew.

How early should we start?

For a custom stand, around eight to twelve weeks before the show is comfortable, and earlier for two-storey stands that need structural approval. Modular stands can be produced faster.

Can you handle organiser approvals?

Yes. We prepare and submit the drawings, structural information, electrical and rigging requests the organiser asks for. Approval decisions remain with the organiser and venue.

Can one stand be used in Riyadh and Jeddah?

Yes. A stand can be designed to be stored, refreshed and reconfigured, which often lowers the cost per show for companies exhibiting in both cities.

Are organiser charges included in your quote?

Organiser charges such as power, rigging points and badges are usually billed by the organiser. We list what is included in our quote and flag the organiser items you should budget for.

Can you create a design before we commit?

Yes. You can request a free 3D booth mockup to see a design direction before deciding.
