Upcoming Events and Exhibitions in Saudi Arabia, 2026–2027

The exhibitions and business events still ahead in late 2026, the first big shows of 2027, and what exhibitors should plan now.

Saudi Arabia hosts one of the busiest exhibition and conference calendars in the region, with major shows in Riyadh, the Eastern Province and Jeddah across technology, real estate, construction, security, culture and consumer sectors. This guide, last updated in October 2026, lists only events that are still ahead, from late 2026 into 2027, with dates verified on organiser and venue websites and a live countdown to each opening day.

It is written for companies deciding where to exhibit and how much time they need to prepare a stand. Events are removed from this page once they finish; our live events calendar keeps the full record. The Concept WLL is an independent exhibition stand and event production company; we are not the organiser of any event listed here.

Saudi exhibition venues at a glance

In Riyadh, three venues host most large trade shows: Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center (RICEC) on King Abdullah Road, Riyadh Front Exhibition and Conference Center near the airport road, and Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center at Malham north of the city, which hosts several of the largest shows. In the Eastern Province, Dhahran Expo runs a full calendar of trade and consumer exhibitions. Jeddah has its own exhibition and event venues for shows serving the western region.

Each venue has its own build-up windows, technical rules and approval steps, and the organiser of each show adds its own exhibitor manual. Our venue guides summarise what to expect, and we confirm the specific rules for every project.

How much time you need for a stand

For a custom stand at a Saudi show, allow ten to twelve weeks from brief to opening day, and longer for double-deck stands or very large spaces. Organiser deadlines for drawings and service orders often fall several weeks before build-up begins.

  • Twelve weeks or more before the show: confirm space, brief your stand builder, agree objectives and budget.
  • Eight to ten weeks: approve the 3D concept and itemised quotation.
  • Six to eight weeks: submit technical drawings and order organiser services such as power.
  • Two to four weeks: final graphics, AV content and fabrication checks.
  • Build-up week: installation, snagging and handover before opening.

Choosing which Saudi events to attend

Start with your buyers: which shows do your target clients, distributors and government stakeholders actually attend? Sector shows usually bring more qualified visitors than general events. Check the visitor profile the organiser publishes, ask past exhibitors about lead quality, and consider whether a conference speaking slot, a side event or a hospitality meeting would add value alongside a stand.

If you plan several shows in a year, design a stand that can be reconfigured for different spaces. That keeps branding consistent and can reduce the cost per show.

How The Concept supports exhibitors

The Concept WLL is headquartered in Bahrain and has a production house in Riyadh. We design and deliver exhibition stands, pavilions and event production for shows in Riyadh, the Eastern Province and Jeddah, and across the Gulf. Our team handles the 3D concept, technical drawings and approvals, production, installation, show support and dismantle.

We are an independent contractor and are not affiliated with the organisers of the events in this guide. Event facts here come from organiser and venue sources and may change; the official event website is always the final reference.

Making the most of a Saudi exhibition

A stand is only part of the investment. The exhibitors who get the most from Saudi shows prepare their visitor list before the event, book meetings in advance, and decide what a qualified lead looks like so the stand team can capture the right details. Arabic and English materials, a clear product focus and staff who can explain your offer in both languages make a noticeable difference with Saudi buyers and government visitors.

Think about the whole visit: a breakfast briefing, a dinner for key clients or a speaking slot in the conference programme can extend the value of a stand well beyond the show floor. Plan these early, because hotels and venues near the big Riyadh exhibition centres fill quickly during major show weeks.

After the show, follow up within days while conversations are fresh, and review which visitors became real opportunities. That review is the best guide to whether the same show deserves a larger stand, a smaller one or a different format next year.

Riyadh, Eastern Province and Jeddah: regional differences

Riyadh hosts most of the large national and international trade shows, along with government-led forums and conferences, so it is the natural focus for companies targeting ministries, giga-projects and head offices. The Eastern Province, centred on Dammam, Dhahran and Al Khobar, has a strong industrial and energy audience alongside busy consumer fairs at Dhahran Expo. Jeddah serves the western region and has its own calendar of trade, consumer and cultural events.

If your buyers are spread across the Kingdom, it can make sense to combine one major Riyadh show with a smaller regional event, using a reusable stand design for both.
