Who takes part?
Exhibitors at a travel and tourism exhibition are typically hotel groups and resorts, destinations and national or regional tourism boards, airlines and airports, tour operators, destination management companies and travel-technology providers. Start early: stand space and budget are typically agreed four to six months before the event, with design and 3D visuals completed in the weeks that follow.
Most organisers ask for technical drawings and approvals six to eight weeks before opening. Fabrication starts as soon as the design is signed off, and installation happens during the build-up days set by the organiser.
