Intersec, now presented by its organiser as Intersec Global, is the long-running Dubai trade show for security, safety, fire protection and resilience. Its visitors include police and civil defence agencies, critical-infrastructure operators, facility managers, system integrators and distributors from across the Middle East, Africa and Asia. For exhibitors, the stand has to show technical products clearly, run live demonstrations reliably and give buyers somewhere discreet to talk. The Concept WLL is an Intersec stand builder in Dubai for manufacturers, software firms, integrators and distributors in these sectors.
According to the organiser, Intersec Global 2027 takes place from 12 to 14 January 2027 at Dubai World Trade Centre, organised by Messe Frankfurt Middle East. The organiser groups the show into product domains including national security and law enforcement, cybersecurity and resilience, surveillance and physical security, fire, rescue and emergency response, and safety and wellbeing. We plan each stand from your confirmed hall, the 2027 exhibitor manual and the venue rules.
We are an independent stand contractor working directly for exhibitors. We are not the organiser, an official contractor or a partner of Intersec Global. This page is about the Dubai show, which is a different event from Intersec Saudi Arabia in Riyadh; we have a separate page for that.
What a security and safety stand has to do
Security and fire products are often small, technical or hidden: a camera, a sensor, an access reader, an analytics platform, a suppression system. A good Intersec booth design turns them into something a visitor understands from the aisle and wants to test. The best stands at security shows usually combine a clean product wall, a live demonstration that proves the system works and a control-room style screen showing what the operator sees.
Intersec also draws a wide mix of visitors in a short time: uniformed delegations on official tours, consultants comparing specifications, integrators looking for new product lines and end users with a specific site problem. The stand layout should let each of them find the right person quickly, with a clear reception point, product zones grouped by domain and staff who can see the aisle.
Buyers in this sector are cautious, and many conversations involve tenders, specifications and confidential projects. Private meeting space is often more valuable than extra floor for display.
Product walls and bays
Mounting walls and plinths for cameras, sensors, readers, barriers, detectors and extinguishing equipment, with concealed cabling so every product can be powered and live.
Control-room demonstrations
Video walls and operator desks showing live camera feeds, analytics, alarm handling and integration, so visitors see the system from the user's chair.
Scenario areas
Small set pieces such as a doorway, a perimeter section or a room corner where access control, detection or suppression can be shown in context.
Private meeting rooms
Enclosed rooms for project, tender and distribution discussions, with storage for samples and literature.
Live demonstrations that work on opening day
A security demo that fails in front of a government delegation is worse than no demo at all. We design power, data and network routes into the stand from the first drawing, list every powered product and screen, and size the electrical order you place with the organiser. Camera positions, lighting levels and sight lines are planned together so demonstrations look right on the video wall as well as on the stand.
Fire and safety exhibitors face extra rules. Live fire, smoke, pressurised cylinders and suppression agents are tightly controlled by the organiser and the venue, so we check the exhibitor manual early and design demonstrations within what is permitted, using video, simulation or inert systems where live demonstrations are not allowed.
Stand types we build for Intersec Global
Intersec exhibitors range from regional distributors on small stands to global manufacturers with large island builds and national pavilions. We design to the space and budget you have booked.
Shell scheme upgrades
Custom graphics, a branded counter, a powered product wall, lighting and a screen within a shell space. A practical option for smaller exhibitors.
Custom stands on raw space
Built from the floor up with flooring, joinery, product walls, storage, lighting and meeting rooms. The usual choice for established brands.
Island stands
Open on all sides, with several product domains, a control-room demonstration and a central meeting core.
Pavilions and shared stands
Country or association pavilions with individual exhibitor pods and a shared reception and meeting area. Our country pavilion page explains how we plan these.
Fabrication, finishes and AV
Security stands are judged by how professional and reliable they look. Our fabrication covers joinery, metalwork, acrylic, printed and illuminated graphics, flooring and integrated technical fit-out, with finishes chosen for a crisp, engineered look under hall lighting. Product walls are built with removable panels so technicians can reach cables and swap products during the show.
LED walls, monitors and touchscreens are built flush into walls and desks, with ventilation for equipment that runs all day. Lighting is planned to show products clearly without glare on screens or camera lenses, and presentation areas get controlled audio so talks do not compete with neighbouring stands.
If you also exhibit in Saudi Arabia, we can design a reusable core structure with changeable graphics so the same stand can work at other security and defence shows in the region.
Timeline to January 2027
Intersec Global opens on 12 January 2027, early in the year and soon after the holiday period. In practice that means most design, approval and fabrication must be finished in December. As a guide, you need a confirmed space, a brief and a first 3D concept several weeks before build-up, so there is time for revisions, organiser drawing approval and fabrication.
We work from the 2027 exhibitor manual for build-up and breakdown times, height limits, rigging, floor loading and fire-safety rules at Dubai World Trade Centre. If you are hosting a product launch, VIP visit or customer event during show week, we can plan that production in parallel.

Intersec stand builder Dubai FAQs
When and where is Intersec Global 2027?
The organiser lists 12 to 14 January 2027 at Dubai World Trade Centre. Check the official Intersec website for any changes.
Is this the same as Intersec Saudi Arabia?
No. Intersec Global is the Dubai show. Intersec Saudi Arabia is a separate event in Riyadh, and we have a separate page for it.
Are you an official Intersec contractor?
No. We are an independent stand designer and builder working directly for exhibitors. We follow the organiser's exhibitor manual and submit the drawings and documents it asks for.
Can our cameras and systems run live on the stand?
Yes. We plan power, data and cable routes for every product, and build product walls with access panels so technicians can work during the show.
Can we run fire or suppression demonstrations?
Only within the organiser's and venue's rules. We check them early and design around what is permitted, using video or simulation where live demonstrations are not allowed.
How early should we start planning?
As soon as you have a confirmed space. Because the show opens just after the holidays, aim to finish design and approvals in good time in December.
How do we get a quote?
Send us your floor plan, stand size and a short brief using the quote form. We reply with questions, then a free 3D concept and a detailed quotation.
