Event Management & Production in Aqaba, Jordan

Exhibition builds, outdoor and shoreline production, staging, AVL and VIP hospitality delivery for the international and destination events Aqaba is built around.

Aqaba is a different production problem to Amman

Aqaba hosts the events that need room: large international exhibitions, defence and aviation-related programmes, destination conferences, incentive travel and hospitality formats, and outdoor production along the shoreline and in the surrounding desert.

Because much of the work happens outside a conventional hall, the production plan starts with the site rather than the design. Power distribution, ground conditions, wind loading on temporary structures, heat management, crew accommodation and freight timing into the port all move to the front of the schedule.

We deliver in Aqaba on a project basis with our own design, fabrication and technical teams, supervised on site. Where temporary structures, generators or specialist rigging are needed, they are specified against an actual site survey — not assumed.

Formats Aqaba suits

Large international exhibitions: multi-day programmes with indoor halls, outdoor display areas and controlled access, where build-up runs over a longer window than a city trade show.

Destination and incentive programmes: resort-based conferences, gala dinners and hospitality experiences where the venue and the setting carry a large part of the brief.

Outdoor and shoreline production: launches, activations and ceremonies where power, structures and weather contingency are the real design constraints.

How an Aqaba project runs

  1. 1. Brief & site — Event, site or hall, dates, guest numbers and access arrangements.
  2. 2. Survey — Ground, power, rigging, wind exposure and load-in routes confirmed before design is fixed.
  3. 3. Design & cost — Concept, 3D visuals and an itemised cost including structures, power and freight.
  4. 4. Approvals — Organiser, venue and authority submissions with structural and safety documentation.
  5. 5. On site — Build-up, technical set-up, rehearsal and supervision through the programme.
  6. 6. Close — Dismantle, site reinstatement, return logistics and a debrief.

Producing events in Aqaba — common questions

Do you support exhibitors at SOFEX?

Yes — stand and display build, hospitality areas and technical production for companies exhibiting. We are not the organiser and hold no official appointment for the event.

Can you deliver an outdoor event in Aqaba?

Yes. Temporary structures, generators, staging, lighting and weather contingency are planned from a site survey rather than assumed.

How far in advance should we plan?

For an Aqaba build, ten to twelve weeks is sensible. Freight, structures and crew logistics take longer than an Amman project.

Do you handle hospitality and VIP areas?

Yes, including layout, build, furniture, signage, guest flow and protocol-aware access.

Are you based in Aqaba?

No. We serve clients in Aqaba through regional project delivery, bringing our own teams, kit and supervision to site.
