Aseer Season outdoor cultural & entertainment builds
Aseer Season brings summer visitors to Abha, Soudah and the mountain towns of the south-west. We build outdoor stages, cultural pavilions, kiosks and sponsor activations that cope with altitude, sudden rain and fog.
Mountain weather changes the brief
Unlike most Saudi summer events, Asir sites can be cool, wet and misty. We specify weatherproof roofs and covers, rated outdoor electrics, drainage and non-slip flooring, and plan wind and lightning procedures for stages.
Winding mountain roads limit truck sizes and delivery times, so modules are sized for smaller vehicles. Asir’s painted Al-Qatt Al-Asiri heritage often informs the design language of cultural pavilions, handled with care and approved artwork.
Season clients in Asir range from national brands running summer roadshows to cultural programmes presenting the region’s heritage. Both need structures that stay safe in mountain weather and look right in a green, misty landscape. We handle the full chain — design, weatherproof engineering, fabrication sized for mountain roads, install and daily operation.
What we deliver here
Weatherproof outdoor stages
Roofed stages, LED and lighting with rain and wind protection for evening programmes.
Pop-ups, kiosks & F&B units
Modular kiosks, retail pods and food units built to the zone operator’s design code, with power, drainage and service access planned in.
VIP, hospitality & backstage
Sponsor majlis lounges, VIP decks, artist and crew backstage fit-outs, green rooms and production offices.
Maintenance during long runs
Daily checks, a planned spares list, repaint and re-skin cycles and an on-call crew so structures, LED and graphics still look right in week eight, not only on opening night.
Outdoor sites & temporary structures
Tents, overlay, shade and temporary structures planned with ground conditions, wind, heat and access in mind.
Festival production & scenic builds
Entrances, scenic installations, VIP lounges, backstage fit-outs and wayfinding for festival sites.
Kiosks & mall activations
Branded kiosks, pop-up units and mall atrium activations designed for mall rules and daily trading.
Brand activations
Sponsor zones, pop-ups and interactive brand spaces built for public crowds and repeat daily operation.
AV, LED & lighting
LED walls, projection, sound and lighting specified to the content and space, installed and tested before doors open.
Highland roadshows & touring builds
Compact, re-deployable activation units that move between Abha, Khamis Mushait and highland parks on smaller trucks.
Planning an Aseer Season project
Useful inputs: the town and site, ground conditions, run length, whether the space is covered, and the content or performances planned.
Programme references: visitsaudi.com/en/seasons/aseer-season. Season dates are announced by the organiser for each edition.
Local logistics: Abha International Airport serves crew travel, and neighbouring Khamis Mushait is the region’s main commercial centre for materials and equipment. Soudah and heritage villages such as Rijal Almaa are reached on steep, winding roads, so we size modules and delivery slots for those routes and allow for weather delays.
How we work with you
- Brief — Share the event type, site or venue, dates if confirmed, audience and objectives.
- Site & rules check — We review access, power, rigging and the organiser or landlord rules that apply to this site.
- Design & proposal — Concept, 3D visuals and an itemised proposal so scope and cost are clear before commitment.
- Production & logistics — Off-site fabrication, technical preparation, transport and crew scheduling planned around the site window.
- Install, operate, dismantle — On-site build, testing, show support and a planned breakdown with the site handed back as agreed.
Frequently asked questions
Who do you work with on season projects?
Sponsor brands, creative and experiential agencies, zone operators and licensees, and entities taking a pavilion or activation inside a season. We work as their design-and-build and production contractor; the season itself is run by its organiser.
When is the next Aseer Season?
Dates are announced by the season organiser for each edition. This page covers our production services and does not list edition dates; check the organiser’s official channels, and the event calendar on this site once dates are confirmed.
Can you provide drones, fireworks, security or artists?
Those are delivered by licensed specialist providers and the promoter. We coordinate our build, rigging and show schedule with them and leave space, power and safety zones for their work in our drawings.
Do you have an office or workshop in this location?
Our head office is in Manama, Bahrain, and we run Saudi projects with production capability in Riyadh. We plan delivery to each location project by project — travelling crews, transport and local suppliers where needed — rather than claiming a local office.
Which towns in Asir do you deliver to?
Abha, Khamis Mushait, Soudah, Rijal Almaa and other highland sites, planned project by project with travelling crews and local suppliers where needed.
Can outdoor builds in Asir run through rainy spells?
Yes, when they are specified for it: roofed stages, sealed electrics, drainage and non-slip floors, plus a weather procedure that sets when shows pause and resume.
