Opening, inauguration & groundbreaking ceremonies
We produce the ceremonies that mark a milestone: official and corporate openings, inaugurations, groundbreaking and foundation-stone ceremonies, ribbon-cuttings and reveals, project handovers and, where they fall within production scope, national-occasion celebrations. Staging, VIP arrivals, bilingual content, the reveal itself and the temporary site around it come from one team, rehearsed to the minute.
A ceremony is a few minutes that must go right
Most ceremonies centre on one moment — the ribbon, the plaque, the first shovel, the press of a button, a reveal on screen. Everything else exists to bring guests and dignitaries to that moment calmly and on time. We plan the run of show backwards from it: arrivals and seating, speeches and film, the reveal mechanism, photo positions and the exit, and we rehearse it with the client's team until the timing holds.
Protocol follows the client's confirmed requirements. We work to the order of arrival, seating, speaking and photography that the client's protocol or VIP office sets, and plan our staging, crew movements and cues inside it. Security for VIP and official guests is provided by the client's appointed security teams; we share drawings, crew lists and access needs with them early.
Groundbreaking and site ceremonies happen on construction land, not in ballrooms. We plan a temporary visitor overlay — shaded seating, flooring, stage and backdrop, branding, toilets and hospitality areas with the caterer, power, lighting and access routes — and allow for heat, wind and dust. Site safety rules come from the contractor or developer, and any structural, electrical or high-level element is delivered with qualified partners and the permissions it requires.

How a ceremony comes together — and what to send us
We visit the site or venue, agree the protocol brief, and share a concept, layout and itemised proposal. Approvals for site use, power, structures and access are prepared with the developer, venue or authority. Production and content are prepared off-site, the overlay is built in the agreed window, and we hold technical and full rehearsals before the day. Weather, heat and dust contingencies are part of every outdoor plan.
A useful brief includes: the type of ceremony and the moment at its centre; the site or venue and city; the date if confirmed; approximate guest count and the VIP or official guests expected; the protocol requirements you already know; the scenic, screen and content needs; site conditions or drawings; and an indicative budget.
How we work with you
- Brief — Share the event type, site or venue, dates if confirmed, audience and objectives.
- Site & rules check — We review access, power, rigging and the organiser or landlord rules that apply to this site.
- Design & proposal — Concept, 3D visuals and an itemised proposal so scope and cost are clear before commitment.
- Production & logistics — Off-site fabrication, technical preparation, transport and crew scheduling planned around the site window.
- Install, operate, dismantle — On-site build, testing, show support and a planned breakdown with the site handed back as agreed.
Frequently asked questions
Can you produce a groundbreaking ceremony on an active construction site?
Yes, inside the contractor's or developer's site rules. We plan a separated visitor area, safe access routes, shade, power and the ceremonial moment with their HSE team, and follow their induction and permit process.
Who handles protocol and VIP security?
Protocol follows your confirmed requirements, usually from your protocol or VIP office, and security is provided by your appointed security teams. We plan staging, cues and crew movements to fit both and share our drawings and crew details with them in advance.
Can the reveal be on screen or mechanical?
Yes — screen reveals, curtain drops, kinetic or lighting reveals and button-triggered content are all possible. Every mechanism is tested in rehearsal with a manual fallback agreed in advance.
How is this different from a gala or launch event?
A ceremony centres on a formal moment and protocol, often on site and often in daylight. Many projects combine it with a gala dinner or a launch; our gala & VIP events and product launch pages cover those parts.
Do you have an office or workshop in this location?
Our head office is in Manama, Bahrain, and we run Saudi projects with production capability in Riyadh. We plan delivery to each location project by project — travelling crews, transport and local suppliers where needed — rather than claiming a local office.
